About Us
Rapid growth to meet increasing
demand caused by homelessness crisis
About Manchester Housing Group
Manchester Housing Group was founded by three friends who all shared a common goal to build a business around giving back to the communities they came from. Jamie, Daniel and Chris drew on their individual skills and experiences to grow the company into what it is today. Their diverse range of backgrounds meant each had to apply their particular capabilities to achieve their shared objectives.
Five years on, MHG’s portfolio has grown at a rapid rate to meet increasing demand caused by the homelessness crisis. Through the strengthening of relationships with local authorities, MHG has been able to become a trusted provider of temporary accommodation to our partners.
MHG currently manages a portfolio of over 200 properties and have developed resources to enable us to provide a reliable and efficient service across the board; from our in-office call handlers, right through to our on-site maintenance teams.
What do we do?
As the rate of homelessness increases, our mission is to provide homes to those finding themselves falling on difficult times. Homelessness can fall into various categories and can affect anyone from all walks of life. The top cause of homelessness in recent years is eviction from privately rented properties as a result of increased pressures on landlords. We understand that life can sometimes take an unexpected turn but also that no two stories are ever the same. Our goal is to support individuals by providing a safe, secure and comfortable home, aiding the transition into permanent accommodation.
